They are not intended to constitute professional, legal, financial or career advice and should not be relied upon as such. While Deptico endeavours to ensure that all content is accurate and current, we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability of the Platform or the information contained on it. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.

Completion of any Course does not guarantee employment, promotion, accreditation or any specific outcome. Success depends on numerous factors outside Deptico’s control, including but not limited to individual effort, prior experience, market conditions and regulatory requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deptico will not be liable for any loss or damage (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss) arising out of, or in connection with, the use of the Platform, its content, or any errors or omissions in such content.

Terms and Conditions of Service

1. Definitions
 

"Platform" – The Deptico website, mobile applications, sub‑domains and all associated services."Course" – Any digital educational product or service offered via the Platform."Education Provider" – A third‑party organisation or tutor whose courses are listed on the Platform."User", "you" or "your" – Any visitor, account holder or purchaser on the Platform."We", "us" or "Deptico" – TIVIEN GROUP LTD trading as Deptico."Content" – All text, graphics, videos, audio, data, software or other material on the Platform."Terms" – This Terms and Conditions of Service document.


2. Acceptance of Terms
 

2.1 By accessing, browsing, creating an account or purchasing a Course, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.2.2 If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.2.3 We may amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions take effect when posted. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

3. Company Information

Deptico is a private limited company registered in England and Wales (No. 16496133). VAT registration details are available on request.

 

4. Account Registration

4.1 You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to create an account.4.2 You agree to provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.4.3 You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities

under your account.4.4 We may suspend or delete an account that breaches these Terms or applicable law.

5. Services Overview

5.1 Deptico provides:

Self‑paced and live online Courses created by Deptico;

Third‑party Courses listed by independent Education Providers;

Tutor support, mobile access, assessments, certificates and analytics dashboards.
5.2 Deptico acts as:

Course Publisher for its own Courses; and

Marketplace Facilitator for Courses supplied by Education Providers.

 

6. Pricing & Payment

6.1 Course plans start from £9 (inclusive of VAT where applicable).6.2 Prices may change; the price shown at checkout is final.6.3 Payment is accepted in GBP by card, PayPal, or other methods shown at checkout.6.4 You authorise us or our payment processor to charge your selected payment method.6.5 Access is granted only after full payment is received.

 

7. Delivery of Courses

7.1 Courses are delivered digitally via streaming or download.7.2 Access is usually immediate but may take up to 24 hours after payment confirmation.7.3 Course licences are personal, non‑transferable and non‑exclusive.

 

8. Third‑Party Providers

8.1 Education Providers are independent contractors. Deptico is not responsible for the accuracy, quality or outcomes of their Courses.8.2 We perform reasonable vetting but provide no warranties regarding third‑party qualifications or accreditation.8.3 Disputes about Course content or certification must be raised first with the relevant Education Provider.

9. Refund & Cancellation Policy

9.1 14‑Day Cooling‑Off (Digital Content): You may cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund provided you have not begun streaming or downloading the Course.9.2 Once streaming or download begins, you waive the right to a full refund. If you cancel within 14 days after partial use, we may issue a pro‑rata refund minus reasonable fees.9.3 Exam fees, assessment fees and issued certificates are non‑refundable.9.4 Refund requests after 14 days are at Deptico’s discretion and may incur administrative charges.

10. Content & Intellectual Property

10.1 All intellectual property rights in the Platform and Deptico Courses belong to Deptico or its licensors.10.2 You may use Course materials solely for personal study. Copying, sharing, selling or public display is prohibited without written consent.10.3 You retain rights to content you post (e.g., reviews) but grant Deptico a perpetual, worldwide, royalty‑free licence to use, modify and display such content.

11. User‑Generated Content & Conduct

You must not:

Upload unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringing material;

Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation;

Upload viruses or malicious code;

Harvest data or conduct unauthorised data mining.
Breach may lead to immediate suspension and legal action.

12. Comparative Analytics & Data Usage

12.1 We pool and anonymise user data to produce benchmarking and performance insights (“Comparative Information”).12.2 You grant Deptico a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to use Comparative Information, provided it is de‑identified and handled per our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.

 

13. Privacy

Personal data is processed according to UK GDPR and our separate Privacy Policy. By using the Platform you acknowledge that policy.

 

14. Availability & Downtime

14.1 We strive for 24/7 availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.14.2 Planned maintenance will be scheduled outside peak hours where possible.14.3 We are not liable for loss caused by downtime, technical issues or force majeure events.

 

15. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

15.1 The Platform, Courses and Content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.15.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deptico disclaims all liability for indirect or consequential loss.15.3 Deptico’s total liability for direct loss is limited to (a) re‑supplying the service or (b) refunding the amount paid for the affected Course, whichever is lower.15.4 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Deptico against all claims, damages, costs and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

 

17. Termination & Suspension

Deptico may suspend, restrict or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms or applicable law. Clauses relating to IP, liability and data survive termination.

18. Communications & Electronic Transactions

18.1 You consent to receive communications electronically.18.2 Contracts formed through the Platform are concluded in English.

19. Force Majeure

Deptico is not liable for failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labour disputes, power failures or governmental action.

20. Transfer & Assignment

We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another entity. You may not transfer your rights without our written consent.

21. Amendments

We may amend these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on the Platform. Material changes will be notified by email or prominent notice.

22. Severability & Waiver

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.

23. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any Course‑specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Deptico.

 

24. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
